“Let’s Face The Facts” has completed its analysis every episode (and all 3 TV movies) from “The Facts Of Life!” We are no longer producing new episodes.

My name is David Almeida, and I love the 1980s sitcom “The Facts Of Life.” From 2018 to 2023, I watched and analyzed every episode (and all 3 TV movies!) of this incredible series, joined by my friend/co-host Matthew Arter. All 229 episodes are available here and on all major podcast apps/platforms.

Still want more? From 2023 to 2024 we did 50 episodes of "TV Talkaholics," a Facts-Of-Life-adjacent podcast in which we re-watched and analyzed TV series, specials, and movies featuring cast members from the show. (More info at tvtalkaholics.com.)

Thank you to all of our devoted listeners over the years! And remember: The Facts Of Life Are All About YOU.

Coming In August: TV Talkaholics #033: "Life With Lucy" (1986) S1 E9 & E13 featuring Charles Levin and Michael Zorek

July 31, 2022

This month David and Matthew will be examining the short-lived and often-maligned 1986 series Life With Lucy! They will be breaking down 2 episodes of show which happen to bring with them some familiar faces we have enjoyed on The Facts Of Life!

First, in Episode 9, “Lucy And The Guard Goose” we get Charles Levin as a police officer. He will be familiar to TFOL viewers as word-processor-TV-salesman Looney Lou on TFOL S8 E14 “Post-Christmas Card.”

Next, in Episode 13, “World’s Best Grandma,” we get Michael Zorek as a pizza delivery man. We previously saw him twice on TFOL… both times as college student Victor, first as a frat house pizza connoisseur in TFOL S6 E2 “Slices Of Life,” and later as the guy who was too drunk to do the overnight shift at the radio station in TFOL S6 E10 “Talk, Talk, Talk.” (Bonus points if you’re also remembering that we discussed him previously on TVT when we broke down the original 1983 TV-movie High School USA.)

75-year-old Lucille Ball and 80-year-old Gale Gordon are working as hard as they can to bring their old-school humor into the 1980s. And we have a lot of opinions on whether they succeed. If you want to watch the episodes, here they are below… FOR FREE! on YouTube (with many thanks to YT user Jonathan Cox).

“TV Talkaholics” is a separate monthly podcast where we discuss episodes, series, and movies which feature members of the “Facts Of Life” cast. Patreon supporters at the $3/month level get exclusive first access to this and all episodes. If you wish to become a member of the ‘fambily,’ visit www.patreon.com/facethefactspod.
